PBS assumes responsibility for Malta Song Board
The Malta Song Board will not be re-appointed and its responsibilities will be passed on to the state broadcaster, Public Broadcasting Services Ltd, the government said yesterday.
The Minister for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, Dolores Cristina has, meanwhile, appointed a new PBS board with Clare Thake Vassallo, a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Arts, being named chairman following numerous spells on the same board. She succeeds Joe Fenech Conti.
Joseph G.P. Bonello, managing director of Financial Planning Services Ltd; Josef N. Grech, a chemist; Lara Tonna, who teaches physical education and is a part-time lecturer at the University, and Isabelle Gatt, lecturer in Creative Arts at the University, sit on the board as members.

Managing Director of a Financial Services Ltd / a Chemist / a PE Teacher / 2 University Lecturers........A team who took over PBS......I wonder what all these people have in common.....surely not in The Broadcasting scene...maybe by coincidence they all share the same political beliefs..
