In the two years starting May 28, 2006, there were 11 cases of marriage annulment requests filed in the Magistrates Court in Gozo. Over the same two years the number of cases decided was 15.

Answering a parliamentary question by Justyne Caruana (MLP), Justice and Home Affairs Minister Carm Mifsud Bonnici said no statistics were kept on how each case was decided.
