Once there was a tree
Who liked the queen bee.
She helped the little blue tits
In making their babies strong and fit.
But the eldest of all children
She did not like
Because he was a vandal and with all his might.
But the children and animals young and old
Were both cared for and loved by her
As though they were her children all.
The tree liked music with a beat
And liked to clap and tap her feet.
She was young and wild and sweet.
This was Miss Lucy the tree.
