Team spirit!
Football Frenzy invited Junior News's girl readers to join an all-girl training course.
Everyone who took part really enjoyed and benefitted from the course. Rebecca Camilleri Pace, 13, was not present when the photo was taken but she also attended and enjoyed the course. National Women's Football team Coach Pierre Brincat was at the first session, to offer his support and encouragement, which was greatly appreciated. Afterwards some of the girls were quick to comment on their experiences.
Elizabeth Camilleri, 13, said: The course was great, excellent coach and excellent training. I think that it was great to give girls a chance to play football. It was a great experience and I enjoyed it a lot.
Emma Cassar-Torregiani, 14, agreed saying: I really enjoyed this course and I think it was a great idea. It was an excellent opportunity where, while we were keeping fit and enjoying ourselves we were learning many necessary football skills.
Chiara Dimech, 10, added: I really enjoyed coming to football and while you learn great football skills you have loads of fun!
Shannon Dimech, nine, agreed saying she really liked this football experience and really enjoyed it. She really wished to do it again and always try her best in football and other sports.
Seven-year-old Jade Laudi's comment was: I went to football and my coach was so nice. I liked all my classmates of football and I like football.
And Rachel Vassallo, 12, said: It was a very nice experience and I enjoyed every moment of it. I really had fun and the coach was really nice.
Finally, Elisa Garroni, 15, summed up saying: It was a great experience taking part in Football Frenzy. We had a great coach who explained and taught good football skills. I learned a lot from it.
