Man found cultivating cannabis
The police Drug Squad has arrested a 34-year-old man from Mosta after he was found in possession of cannabis.
The discovery was made after the police were tipped off that the man was cultuivating cannabis.
Late last night he was seen driving into a field near Ta’Qali. A short time later he was searched and fresh cannabis leaves were found in the car. Cannabis plants were found in the fields. Some 220 grams of cannabis resin ware also found in a room, ready to be sold.
Magistrate Doreen Clarke is holding an inquiry.
