Corpse found at sea
The Armed Forces of Malta yesterday afternoon recovered a corpse from the sea some miles off Gozo, the police said.
The corpse, which was in an advanced stage of decomposition, was loaded onto a patrol boat and taken ashore to the AFM Maritime Base in Haywharf from where it was transported to hospital.
An autopsy will be held this morning.
Magistrate Doreen Clarke has opened an inquiry.
