Evarist Bartolo, a man who wants to be the next Prime Minister, told the Gozitan Tourist Association that it should have been their members who "cashed in" on Gozo 1234 and not Where's Everybody (May 30).

Fact: 80,000 passengers and 20,000 vehicles were transported between the two islands for this event. Where's Everybody and Nexos Lighting, with whom we were partners in this venture, might have some merits.

But alas, unlike Jesus of Nazareth, we are still not able to feed and house 80,000 people at will.
