Archbishop lauds work with vulnerable groups

Any work in favour of vulnerable groups, such as that carried out by the Richmond Foundation, is not only valuable but is also noble, Archbishop Paul Cremona said during Mass.

The Archbishop celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Richmond Foundation on Thursday when he visited and blessed the Foundation's head office in Sta Venera, where he met the staff, personnel and service users.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Louis Galea, was present, as was Kate Gonzi, vice chairman of the Richmond Foundation.

The foundation provides rehabilitation and support services in the community for persons with mental health difficulties.

Mgr Cremona visited its premises after celebrating Mass at the Old Parish Church of Sta Venera.
