Prof. David J. Attard, International Maritime Law Institute director and University Council president, has received a letter of recognition from Prof. R.K. Pachauri, chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), congratulating him and his colleagues' admirable contribution to the IPCC's work. The panel was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.
