A World War Two clock was recently donated to the Aviation Museum by former Royal Artillery gunner, Stan Fraser.

Mr Fraser acquired the clock while stationed in Malta between 1941 and 1943. He bought the clock from a soldier who had 'salvaged' the time piece from a crashed Wellington bomber. Mr Fraser had the clock mounted on panelled wood which he says originated from the broken blades of a British fighter plane.

Veronica Galea presented the Weelington clock on Mr Fraser's behalf to Aviation Museum director general, Ray Polidano. Also present were director Frederick Galea and museum public relations officer, Tony Spiteri.
