Swimming pool for Gozo athletes
Undoubtedly our country has come a long way in sports. However, there is still room for improvement.
I refer in particular to the fact that Gozo still lacks a swimming pool that can be used all year round. Athletes with a penchant for swimming can only practise their favourite sport during the summer, jellyfish permitting! I think that, after several promises have been made, it is high time for the pool to materialise. Gozitan swimmers deserve an all-year-round training facility like their Maltese and European counterparts.

Can Mr. Azzopardi enlighten us as to how many Gozitan "sports" swimmers is he talking about?
