Sammut makes it a hat-trick

Marsaxlokk midfielder Kevin Sammut has won the BOV Player of the Month award for May to complete a hat-trick. This is the first time since the introduction of the award that a player has been named as the Player of the Month three times during the same season.

This month's award came after yet another fine spell by the talented Sammut, culminating in his impressive display during Marsaxlokk's win over champions Valletta.

Sammut chose the Children's Cancer Support Group as the organisation to benefit from the monthly donation BOV makes in association with this award.
