Busy 24 hours for fire-fighters
A car was extensively damaged in a fire in Naxxar this morning, the police said.
The incident capped a busy 24-hours for fire-fighters of the Civil Protection Department.
Early yesterday they fought a fire which destroyed two cars and many bales of hay in Burmarrad (picture) while late yesterday evening they fought a fire at Foster Clark San Gwann and a grass fire, possibly a result of arson, in Blata l-Bajda.
No one was injured but workers at the factory had to be evacuated.
