Soldiers forming part of the rapid deployment team of the AFM's maritime squadron have seized drugs on a powerboat in Marsamxett.

They also found a pistol and ammunition, drug related paraphenalia and a quantity of cash..

The boat was taken to the Maritime Squadron base at Haywharf for a further search. A 33 year old man from Zebbug was arrested.
