St Paul's Bay bypass contractor

I refer to the article August Deadline For Repairs - St Paul's Bay Bypass (May 22).

ADT would like to clarify that the reconstruction of the dual-lane bypass was commissioned to Asfaltar Ltd following a public call.

Polidano Bros Ltd is the private contractor who had carried out excavation works in a private area beneath the south-bound carriageway of the bypass. The excavation works had led to the collapse of part of this carriageway which led to the present delays to complete works on this specific part of the bypass.
