Now that the dust is settling, one can begin to evaluate not what went wrong at the Eurovision Song Contest (as we all know Morena delivered the best performance one could) but what one can do to improve our chances of success.

Am I to believe that on this island there is only one composer and one writer whom we can rely on every single year?

I would like to suggest that, to be utterly fair to each one of the 250 or so writers and composers, TVM transmits a weekly programme leading up to the final selection date so that the public can vote for the best songs.
