Woman critically injured in fall
A 51-year-old woman from Bahrija is still in critical condition after she fell a height of one storey down a shaft yesterday evening.
The incident happened at a residence in Church Street, Tarxien.
The woman was removed from the shaft by rescuers of the Civil Protection Department and is in intensive care at Mater Dei Hospital.
Magistrate Silvio Meli is heading an inquiry.
