Students, squatters in need

Greetings and peace. I am a member of the Missionary Society of St Paul, assigned to our mission in Manila, Philippines. My mission is in a state university and also in a parish where a new community is being formed. Our main mission at the university is to give the community there a good Christian formation and to help them in their study needs. Most of them come from poor families who live in the provinces. We meet the students who cannot afford to continue their courses because they have no financial means.

Besides, in Manila there are many squatter families who mostly live on the streets of the city. These people are living in a very depressing situation, deprived of all that is needed to live as humans. We are trying to help them thanks to readers' generosity and concern.
