Napoli: Napoli have extended coach Edy Reja's contract until the end of next season, the Serie A club said. Reja took the twice former champions from the third tier to the top flight with two consecutive promotions and led them to an eighth-place finish on their return to Serie A this term.

Friendly: England's friendly against Trinidad and Tobago on June 1 in Port of Spain will go ahead after a dispute over rental fees for the Hasely Crawford Stadium was settled in the High Court. The Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation will pay $150,000 to the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs for use of the 23,000-seater venue and they must also pay to advertise on the ground's electronic scoreboard.

Keita: Sevilla's Mali midfielder Seydou Keita has passed a medical at Barcelona and is close to signing a four-year deal for a fee of about 14 million euros, Spanish media reported. Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani was also in Barcelona for talks with the club on Friday, and is reported to be interested in the futures of Gianluca Zambrotta, Brazil's Ronaldinho and Cameroon's Samuel Eto'o.

Austria: Euro 2008 co-hosts Austria enjoyed a rare but unofficial 4-1 win over Cuba in a warm-up match played behind closed doors after coach Josef Hickersberger said he wanted the team to play without distraction by fans or the media. Austria, who tried out 27 of their 31-man provisional Euro 2008 squad, have won just one of their last 14 official friendlies. Austria play against Malta in Graz next Friday.

Juventus: Juventus have signed 18-year-old midfielder Albin Ekdal from Sweden's IF Brommapojkarna, the Serie A side said. The Swedish U-19 international cost £480,000 and put pen to paper on a four-year deal.

Haka license: Finnish league runners-up FC Haka Valkeakoski will be allowed to compete in next season's UEFA Cup after the Finnish FA had initially denied them the spot for financial reasons earlier this month, the association said. "After reviewing additional information provided by FC Haka, it was evaluated that the club can fulfill its financial obligations during the season," the FA said in a statement.
