Division One Promotion
Qormi FC are back in the top flight of Maltese football following a tense 4-3 penalty shoot-out win over Mosta in a decider on Friday night after a 0-0 draw. Jesmond Zerafa's team ended the season joint second in the standings, behind Tarxien, and level with Mosta on 37 points. The last time Qormi played in the top division was in 1979-80.
