All University staff members are invited to attend a Science forum being held at the Junior College on Friday to showcase a number of ongoing research projects and to mark the launching of a research committee, Research in Science (RESCI), at the college.

The RESCI steering group members are Joe Doublet, Alan Deidun, Sandro Lanfranco, David Mifsud, Svetlana Schembri-Wismayer and Marion Zammit-Mangion.

The committee was set up to promote original scientific research at the college, facilitate and publicise research and consolidate the reputation of active researchers.

It also aims to search for funds for research projects and establish channels of communication with existing research entities, such as the University Research Committee and the Postgraduate Researchers' Forum.
