Go Plus TV has gained over 25,000 subscribers in just over a year since it started to offer its digital TV service.
Over the past months, Go has fulfilled its promise to provide Malta and Gozo with a digital TV service at the most affordable prices in the local market. The positive public reaction to the launch of the digital TV service is testament to this commitment.
"With the addition of TV, Go is Malta's only quadruple-play telecom operator with a complete portfolio of services, namely fixed line, mobile, broadband internet and digital television, offering clients a total telecom solution," said Keith Fearne, Go's chief commercial officer.
Michèle Dandria, Go's TV product manager, explained: "Go Plus offers customers a 55-channel line-up that ranges from English football club channels such as Manchester Utd TV, Liverpool TV, Arsenal TV and Chelsea TV being added later this year to channels providing new drama, hit comedy series, kids channels - including Disney channel - and ground-breaking documentaries.
"With the recent acquisition of extensive sports content, we now give sports fans through Sports+ a feast of events and tournaments from a variety of disciplines. We look forward to the next four seasons of the FA Cup as well as all England home and away World Cup qualifying 2010 matches exclusively."
