Obituary
GALEA. On May 22, at Mater Dei Hospital, BLANCHE, aged 79, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers and sisters Violet, Pia, Mary, Annie and her husband Joe, France and his wife Lina and her sisters-in-law Colin and Evelyn, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 7.30 a.m. for St Paul's Shipwreck Church, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8 a.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Villa Mgr Gonzi will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.
GERMAN. On May 20, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH, a most loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his children Eric, Isabelle Sacco, Adrian and Nadia, Pierre and Marita, Daniel and Lorraine, his grandchildren John Sacco, Sharyn Camilleri and Nigel, Christopher Sacco and Claire, Shaun and Daniela, Neil and Izabella, Dryk, Kurt and David, his great-grandchildren Julia, Jessica and Maximillian, his in-laws Gustav Ricci, Chev. Edward R. Grech and Joyce Sammut, lone Cefai and Victor, and Alice Grech Trapani, other relatives and his many friends.
The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8.30 a.m. for Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to The Malta Hospice Movement, Balzan, will be appreciated.

MICALLEF. On May 21, MARLENE, née Delia, of Sliema, aged 73, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreplaceable loss her husband Renald, her children Simona, wife of Anthony Mamo, Colin and his wife Judith, her grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Keith and Nicola, her sisters Valerie and her husband Frederick, Isabelle and her husband Peter, her brother- in-law Noel, their families, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Boffa Hospital today for Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
In life she was a great lady, in parting she will become greater still. Eternal rest give unto her, O Lord.
ZAMMIT. On May 22, at Zammit Clapp Hospital, MARY, née Testa of Ħamrun, aged 90, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Joseph Zammit (ex-Cabinet Secretary) and his wife Victoria, Margaret, Rosalie and her husband George Muscat, Salvinu and his wife Frances, her grandchildren, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Zammit Clapp Hospital today at 7.45 a.m. for Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.15 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.

Government Stocks
The Accountant General said in reference to the Government Stocks Issue announced on May 15 that the price for each stock is as follows:
(i) 5.1% Stock 2014 (III) - Fungibility Issue at a price of €101.25 (Lm43.47) for each €100 Stock;
(ii) 5% Stock 2021 (I) - Fungibility Issue at a price of €98.99 (Lm 42.50) for eachl €100 Stock.
Applications open on Monday and close at noon on May 30 or before, at the discretion of the Accountant General.
Music Academy
The 51st International Summer Academy of Music in Nice, France will be held between June 15 and 18.

Feline show
Those interested in taking part in the Malta Feline Guardians Club's upcoming exhibition are asked to either log onto www.malta-catshows.com or phone 9999 0022 until the end of the month. The show will take place at the Coastline Hotel on June 8, between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Nesquik Sports Day
Nestlé Malta's Nesquik Club, in collaboration with the Malta Sports Council, will be hosting a Nesquik Sports Day at the Marsa Sports Complex on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
Events include football skills and penalty shoot-outs, gymnastics and rope skipping, team building activities, athletics, handball, ultimate frisbee, dodge ball and rugby.
The event is being organised to support Nestlé's commitment towards promoting a healthy and active lifestyle not only among children but also among adults. In fact, parents can also participate in aerobics.
Participating children have to be between 4 and 11 years of age and those who wish to take part need to book by calling free phone number 8007 2209 by tomorrow.
New premises
The Joint Office within the Government Property Division has moved to new premises at 31, Marxamxetto Road, Valletta.
Until the passenger lift is installed and in order to facilitate service provision to all members of the public, temporary arrangements have been made for staff to see clients with mobility impairment in an office on the ground floor.
