Morena has only just stirred from her sleep, after spending the early morning hours partying at the Euroclub in Belgrade with her family, friends and numerous fans.

She refused to let the initial disappointment of not qualifying for Saturday's Eurovision final take over, and instead she let her positive attitude reign.

"I did the best I could. If I didn't try my best I would be disappointed," she told timesofmalta.com this morning.

Morena, together with backing vocalist Annabelle Debono and the four Swedish dancers, held the Maltese flag up high at the club.

The party was organised by OGAE Serbia, and DJ Charlo, from OGAE Malta, was one of those who kept the crowds entertained. At one point, Morena even went up on stage to give a rendition of Vodka, composed by Philip Vella and Gerard James Borg, to loud applause and cheers.

This afternoon, with no more rehearsal commitments, Morena plans to go shopping and do a spot of sightseeing.

Morena and the Maltese delegation will be returning to Malta on Sunday at 12.45 p.m.
