The Malta International Fashion Show, in collaboration with the fashion television station TV Moda, is back to dazzle fashion lovers, with its 30 foreign models, wearing top Italian designer labels from Versace to Valentino and Ferragamo.

This year's event, again organised by Renaissance Productions Ltd, is taking the world of glamour and glitz to Gozo, where it will be staged in the picturesque St Augustine Square, Victoria.

Scheduled for July 5, the event was first held at Manoel Island two years ago, under the name Passion for Fashion, and attracting a crowd of 1,700.

The show will again be hosted by TV personality Jo Squillo, the face and owner of TV Moda, with its non-stop fashion, available in Malta via cable TV.

But apart from Ms Squillo and the foreign models, RPL director Amabile Zammit said talks were underway to bring over the stunning Alena Seredova, Juventus star goalkeeper Gigi Buffon's woman, among other celebrities.

Maltese designer duo Charles and Ron will be showcasing their CR label, as they did in the previous show, using six local models, who will have the opportunity to be viewed on international TV.

The event is being organised also in collaboration with the Malta Tourism Authority and with the assistance of the Gozo Ministry. The idea is to promote Gozo. In fact, a pre-fashion show advert specifically on Gozo will be aired on the station before the show is featured several times.

Tickets are available form www.maltaticket.com.
