Bank of Valletta has launched a new initiative that underlines the importance it gives to its active role within the communities in which it operates.

The BOV Community Week kicked off at Qormi branch on Monday and includes a series of activities that touch upon a wide range of areas through which Bank of Valletta interacts with the local community. Bank CEO Tonio Depasquale explained that as a leading financial organisation with a presence in practically every locality in Malta and Gozo, BOV seeks to be supportive of the communities in which it operates.

Branch manager Noel Abela said that all the activities being held throughout the week have a local "feel" to them in order to promote the strong heritage that Qormi enjoys.
