The global challenge
What are the global politics of climate change? How are the current negotiations progressing and what is Malta's position? How will climate change affect Malta physically? What will it do to our water resources? How will tourism be adversely affected? What about our energy and food security? Will climate refugees add to Malta's illegal immigration problems? Will there be new threats to our health as a result of climate change?
These are the questions that all policy-makers and senior executives should be addressing.
If you are interested in hearing answers to these questions, a talk on Climate Change: The Global Challenge And An Action Plan For Malta will be being given at the Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise, Valletta at 6 this evening by Michael Zammit Cutajar and Martin Scicluna, members of the independent think-tank, The Today Public Policy Institute.
