Lucio Dalla arrives today

Lucio Dalla and his band arrive today for tomorrow's performance at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre, in Ta' Qali, which starts at 9 p.m.

The Italian star is expected to interpret "the very best" of his musical repertoire in a career that has spanned over 40 years. He will be accompanied by a six-member band and supporting vocalist Iskra Menarini.

Following the concert, he will be in attendance to sign autographs and mingle with the VIP crowd.

The spokesman said that an "intimate" setting has been arranged at MFCC in order to allow the audience in each section to get the closest view possible of the stage.

Big screens have also been erected.
