Dear Junior News, did I ever tell you that Nicole Vassallo, from Attard, and I together play duets on the piano? And last month we obtained distinction in the Royal School of Music Intermediate duet exam.
We've been playing together for about two years and we enjoy playing the piano a lot.
Anyway, that's all for today. I thank you for the interesting Junior News.
And thank you for all the interest you show in Junior News James. Although you were not a winner in the Playmobil pianist competition we know you'll have other chances to be lucky. Like you, Nicole is a regular reader and contributor, but we didn't know you were fellow pianists. It takes a lot of work to do that well in such important exams so congratulations.

Dear Junior News, my pet is a hamster. Her name is Blondie as she is a golden-banded-satin typed hamster. This type of hamster comes from Syria and it is very longhaired. For this reason I brush her every day so she remains beautiful.
My hamster is on a healthy diet and I need to feed her sunflower seeds and sometimes some fruit to chew, so that her teeth remain clean.
As she comes from the Syrian Desert, she needs to stay in a warm place and that's why I make sure that her cage is cosy and in winter I'll put soft hay in the cage.
I love to see her playing on the plastic wheel because she will be enjoying herself and at the same time it is very good exercise.
I recommend everyone to have a hamster as a pet because they are playful and they are lovely creatures.
