Morena shook her wild locks and gave a spirited performance during the first general run-through of the Eurovision's second semi-final.

Wearing her dazzling high-heeled boots she delivered the goods and her voice was stable throughout her three-minute performance of Vodka, penned by Gerard James Borg and composed by Philip Vella.

The show has just finished and Morena and her team will be returning to the hotel before a second run-through tonight at 9 p.m.

Morena continues to walk a tightrope of odds and though bookmakers are not placing Malta among the top 10 songs to qualify in Saturday's final, she has inched up to eighth position in the poll underway at the press centre.

The international website oikotimes.com said: "They all say Malta will qualify... because of Morena, because of the composition and the title. Morena looks confident and the choreography is nice... I am just 90-per-cent certain it will make it to the final."
