Hamrun reached the final of the FA Cup tonight after beating Floriana 4-2 in the semi-final at Ta'Qali.

The Spartans were in the driving seat throughout the match, opening a three goal lead thanks to Meilak (25) Effiong (29)

and Spiteri (33).

Brincat and Darmanin put Floriana back in the game in the 45th and 64th minute but Ryan Fenech made sure for Hamrun from the penalty spot in the 74th minute.

Neither Hamrun nor Floriana could participate in European football next year at they do not have a UEFA licence.

The other semi-final, between Valletta and Birkirkara, will be played tomorrow.
