Woman critically injured

A 56-year-old woman from Cospicua was grievously injured this evening when she was hit by a car in Cottoner Street, Vittoriosa, the police said.

The car, a Mazda, was being driven by a 20-year-old man from Senglea.

Magistrate Tonio Micallef Trigona is heading an inquiry.
