A 23-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to seriously injuring his former girlfriend and slightly injuring three others in an argument.

Magistrate Antonio Micallef Trigona this morning heard Dino Falzon from Marsaxlokk plead not guilty to seriously injuring Manuela Bonnici at her home on Sunday evening.

He also pleaded not guilty to slightly injuring Michelle Bonnici, Paul Busuttil and Darren Busuttil, threatening them and breaching the peace.

Magistrate Micallef Trigona granted Mr Falzon bail against a personal guarantee of €2,000 (Lm858.36).

Police Inspector Arthur Mercieca prosecuted.

Lawyers Franco Debono and Marion Camilleri appeared for Mr Falzon.
