Appeal over damaged windmill
Kola Windmill in Xagħra, Gozo.
Wirt Għawdex has urged Heritage Malta to take immediate action in making the necessary repairs to the historic Kola Windmill in Xagħra, Gozo whose antennae were damaged by the recent strong winds.
Any neglect might lead to irreparable damage to the only functional windmill on the island, Wirt Għawdex said.

I visit this windmill everytime I visit Gozo...It's an apointment I give myself as I always find myself in awe of it.
Please let's not deprive future generations of what we have been lucky to appreciate ourselves. Let's take all necessary steps to preserve the wind mill.
