The Embassy Complex organised a Mother's Day event together with SOS Malta to help in reduce poverty.

SOS Malta, a Maltese-registered NGO set up in 1991, aims to provide support services and opportunities to ensure a better quality of life.

Through its development department, SOS Malta carries out emergency aid, raises awareness on eradicating poverty and hunger, promotes gender equality and empowerment to women, reduces child mortality, improves maternal health, helps victims of HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases and seeks to develop a global partnership for development.
