Morena strikes a pose

It's 11.30 p.m. on Sunday night and Morena has just returned from the Eurovision's official opening party, where she was courted by the media and several fans who could not get enough of her.

Her jaw must be aching from all the photos she posed for, but she took it in her stride and kept her elegant cool.

Wearing a long, flowing, sparkly, dress designed by Ernest Camilleri, she turned heads.

However, no contestant could compete with the attention piled on Verka Serduchka, who represented Ukraine last year and placed second. The media flocked to get a comment and there was a huge crush, as security attempted to give the team some breathing space.

The party at Palata Srbije, in Belgrade, was very well attended as each contestant worked the crowd in a bid to promote their entry.

Earlier, the delegations were invited to a VIP party at the White Palace. However, the Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine were unable to attend.

The evening is now over and Morena can finally kick off her shoes, dress down and grab a midnight snack, before getting her well-earned sleep.
