• Bee Movie will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 6 p.m.

• The parish of Sannat will organise a pilgrimage on the 125th anniversary of Our Lady's call to Carmela Grima on Wednesday at 5 p.m. The activity will start at the road junction between Għarb road and Ta' Pinu road. On arrival at Ta' Pinu Sanctuary, Mass will be celebrated. The function will be broadcast on Radju Maria. Masses will be celebrated at 5, 6, 7, 8.30 and 9 a.m. and at 5.30, 6.30 and 8 p.m.

• The Xewkija Primary school will be organising a coffee morning on Thursday at 9 a.m. Each class would be staging a performance highlighting various aspects connected with Mother's Day. A token will be given at the end of this fundraising activity. Tickets can be obtained from the school (2155 6341 or 7906 7215), school council members or the Volunteers Club.

• The feast of Mary Help of Christians will be celebrated at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, this week. A Marian academy will be held on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. On Friday adolescents and youths are invited for a Marian vigil starting at 7.30 p.m., followed by a pilgrimage for Ta' Pinu Sanctuary. On Saturday Mgr George Tabone will lead a High Mass at the Don Bosco Oratory chapel at 7 p.m. followed by a procession with the statue of Mary Help of Christians.

• To celebrate Padre Pio's birthday, all members of the three prayer groups in Gozo are to meet for a prayer session at the Capuchins Sanctuary of Our Lady of Graces, Victoria, on Saturday at 6.30 p.m. The meeting will begin with the recitation of the rosary, followed by a solemn concelebrated Mass led by the Capuchin Provincial, Fr Joe Alessandro at 7 p.m. The Fjur t'Assisi choir will participate. All devotees are invited to attend.

• The Catholic Action Movement is inviting all women in Gozo to the annual Day of Prayer by Catholic Women at its headquarters in Sir Arturo Mercieca Street, Victoria, on Wednesday. The programme, which starts at 8.50 a.m., will include Mass by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech, reflections, prayers and hymns based on this year's theme: 'Let's build a culture of peace'.

• The St Joseph Band Club and the Malta Red Cross Gozo Section together with the Malta National Blood Transfusion Service is organising a Blood Donation Marathon on May 31 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the band club's premises, Għajnsielem. • The 11th edition of the Victoria International Arts Festival will be held between June 8 and July 8. Besides master classes in various instruments, the festival will consist of some 30 events by local and foreign artistes. Austria, the Czech Republic, England, France, Italy, Norway, Russia and Slovenia are among the European countries taking part. The final concert by the National Orchestra and the Laudate Pueri Choir at St George's Basilica in Victoria, will open the festivities in honour of St George. Entrance is free for all events, most of which will be held in the Aula Mgr Giuseppe Farrugia at St George's parish centre.

• The Gozo Sports Complex together with the Skolasport in Gozo, are holding a progressive show on Saturday at 9 a.m. Parents of children who attended this year's Skolasport activities, as well as the public are invited to attend the show at the Gozo Sports Complex. The programme includes a display in various sport disciplines as well as entertainment provided by Klinsman Coleiro, Miriam Christine Borg and Siconix.

• The Heildelberg Chamber Orchestra and soloists will give a concert at St George's Basilica on Saturday at 7.45 p.m. The historical version of Mozart's Missa de Requiem will be performed.

• The feast of St Rita will be celebrated on Thursday at St Augustine church, Victoria. Masses will be held between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. The blessing of flowers and children will be held by Br Paul Muscat, OSA, at 5 p.m. A solemn concelebration led by Mgr Grech will be held at 6 p.m. followed by a procession with the statue of St Rita.
