Senglea confirmed their fourth position in the league after easily beating the already-relegated Marsa.
Richard Mercieca's side should have scored more goals but missed several sitters, mainly through striker Anthony Ewurun, who still managed a hat-trick to move top of the scorers list with 13 goals.
Ewurun scored one more than Darren Ciappara, of Dingli, and two more than Anthony Eviparker, of Vittoriosa.
For Marsa, Warren Chircop had another good match and was also unlucky not to put his name on the score sheet.
Despite their dominance, Senglea had to wait until the 44th minute to break the deadlock when Leeroy Bonnett fired home from the edge of the area after being put through by Joseph Farrugia.
Bonnett made it 2-0 right on the hour when he hit a scorcher that left Marsa keeper Roderick Spiteri stranded on his line.
Ewurun finally found the net on 66 minutes after missing a series of chances. He ran past a couple of opponents before slotting the ball beyond the Marsa keeper's reach - 3-0.
Marsa were down and out and suffered two more goals inside the last 10 minutes.
On 83 minutes, Kenneth Abela squared the ball to Ewurun who made it 4-0 and two minutes into stoppage time another good one-two between Abela and Ewurun finished with the Nigerian scoring his third goal of the day.
