The Institute for Environmental Studies will be holding a course entitled 'Basic marine biology II'.

Following the favourable response received after conducting the first course last year, which was held twice, the institute is now offering a more detailed one.

The topics covered include biogeography of the Mediterranean Sea; aspects of marine biodiversity; and human impacts on the marine environment and coastal management.

Participants will benefit from the expertise of local marine biologists, as well as two scientific dives led by a marine ecologist.
