The Malta Canoe Federation recently held a canoe and kayak open day at the Sliema waterpolo pitch. Canoe Polo matches were played with teams, consisting of five players each, endeavouring to score in their opponents' goal while moving about in short canoes. Due to the inclement weather on the day, tours were cancelled and slalom races were held instead.
