Malta U-15 team for Czech tournament

The Malta Under-15 team will be taking part in the Kouba Cup, to be played next week in Trutnov, Czech Republic.

The team, under the guidance of coach Charles Scerri and his assistants Joseph Martin Bajada and Frank Schembri, will be travelling to Prague on Sunday. They will play four matches at the Lokomotiva Stadium in Trutnov.

This tournament will serve as preparation for the Maltese youngsters who will form the basis of the national youth team.

The squad is made up of the following players:

Goalkeepers: Carlos Dimech (Hibernians), Gianni Spiteri (Birkirkara)

Defenders: Steve Agius (Qormi), John Debono (Naxxar), Brandon Gatt (Hibs), Lee Galea (San Ġwann), Chris Grech, Zach Muscat (both Pietà).

Midfielders/Forwards: Ayrton Azzopardi (Pietà), Christian Briffa (Hibs), Michael Camilleri (Birkirkara), Dylan D'Agostino (Pietà), Ryan Dalli (Sliema), Matthew Hammet (Hibs), Bjorn Kristensen, Joseph Massa (both Hibs), Larsen Mallia (Pietà), Ian Scerri (Hibs).
