I refer to John A. Consiglio's typically "oracular" broadside (May 14) against Kenneth Zammit Tabona's comment on the role of the President.

Whether or not you agree with Mr Zammit Tabona's usually mildly humorous but perceptive weekly contributions, Dr Consiglio's fulsome tirade was targeted on the contributor rather than on the contents. I think it was unwarranted.
