A crew from MUTV, Manchester United's official television channel, are in Malta to produce a feature on the local supporters' club.

This initiative is part of the activities commemorating the Manchester United Supporters' Club (MUSC) 50th anniversary celebrations.

The MUTV entourage have plans to shoot in various locations across the Maltese islands and interview people who, along the years, have been involved in the running of the local supporters club.

"This is yet another proud first for the local United supporters' branch," a statement from MUSC said.

"It is also a unique opportunity for other fans around the world to learn more about the MUSC, which is Manchester United's oldest and largest officially recognised supporters' club in the world."

As part of the filming for the MUTV feature, a special event is being organised for the general public. The event, titled MUTV day, will be held on Saturday at the Grand Hotel Excelsior, starting at 5.30 p.m.
