Malta may be trying to come to terms with the sharp increase in property development and the impact on prices. But while we argue whether the issue is real or not, the virtual world is forging ahead.
The Malta Monopoly board is being launched, which will feature 22 locations to be selected by a board of representatives from various sectors including tourism, environment, culture, media, history, property and projects.
Focus groups were consulted to arrive at the final shortlist.
A number of the chance and community chest cards will be customised and all cards will in both Maltese and English. The place names on the board will be in the Maltese language - Maltese font throughout.
The game board will be for sale in Malta in October. Monopoly Malta will also be distributed both in Australia and America exclusively by Brainbox.
