Practical session for Maltese coaches

Arsenal Malta Supporters Club (AMSC) will hold a practical session for youth nursery coaches and trainers on Saturday, at 9 a.m., at the Tedesco Stadium, Ħamrun.

This event, which is being offered free of charge, will be held in conjunction with the Emirates Airline Young Footballer Challenge and sponsored by Emirates, the Dubai-based international airline.

The coaching session with a group of young players will be conducted by the two senior officials from Arsenal Football Club's Community Department, Paul Shipwright, who is responsible for partnered Soccer Schools, and Martin Davis, Development Officer.

"Paul Shipwright and Martin Davis will be sharing their best practices in football coaching for young players," said Peter Paul Gauci, the Event Co-ordinator and vice-president and PRO for AMSC.

"This activity will encourage and support the coaches of this popular sport while seeking to raise standards of the football game."

All football club youth nurseries are invited to send their coaches.
