The NSO said that almost a third of the occupational accidents occurred in the manufacturing sector, 17 percent in construction, and 11.1 percent in transport and communications.

In the period under review, 44.6 per cent of the accidents at work occurred to persons who were under 35 years of age and in elementary occupations.
