Burial clothes

A lady said she bought an outfit and a brand new tie for her dead brother to be buried in. When she went to the mortuary to see her dead brother, he was dressed in shabby clothes.

This incident brought back unpleasant memories to me. When my mother passed away, I gave the nurse a pretty pink night dress of a very good make. When I went to the mortuary to see my mother for the last time, she was dressed in a cheap, pale blue night dress.

I simply screamed.

I am glad that John Cachia, director general health care services division, is trying to make sure that such incidents will not happen again.
