Taekwondo

The Malta Taekwondo Federation held a national Poomsae competition earlier this month at St Martin's College, Swatar.

The winners of this competition were Jamie Farrugia, Lynsey Fenech, Maria Minuti, Irina Atanasova, Davinia Abdilla, Amanda Schembri and Emmanuel Schembri.

Chris Vella, who holds the highest Dan ranking in Malta, conducted a seminar to the higher belts at the end of the competition. He was part of the judging panel along with other officials from the Technical Committee.

The federation announced the winning design for the MTF mascot. The design was drawn by Joel Genuis from the St Martin's Taekwondo Academy.
