Charged with misappropriation
A man from St Paul's Bay was yesterday charged with misappropriating over €2,329.37 (Lm1,000) in March.
Francis Caruana, 53, was charged before Magistrate Lawrence Quintano with misappropriating the money to the detriment of Joseph Zammit.
He was also charged with relapsing.
Police Inspector Yvonne Farrugia prosecuted.
Lawyers Josè Herrera and Veronique Dalli were defence counsel.
Lawyer Robert Abela appeared in parte civile for Mr Zammit.
