Europe Day
A European Union flag hangs from La Predrera (designed by Gaudi) celebrating European Union Day in central Barcelona, yesterday. Throughout Europe, May 9 is recognised as Europe Day and marks the founding of the EU. Each year, European nations hold special events to celebrate their European identity.
